A Russian-made Orlan-10 drone was discovered in Turkey’s northwestern Kocaeli province, raising alarms over regional security. Authorities say the UAV, used for reconnaissance and surveillance, crashed on Wednesday in the Cubuklubala neighbourhood.

This is the second Russian drone found in Turkey in 24 hours. The downed drone was found in a field near the town of Manyas, south of the Sea of Marmara, 140 kilometers from Istanbul.
